The goal for all accounting systems is the production of timely, accurate, and relevant financial data, and for the protection of assets.

We can assist you in assembling that data into statements that reflect on present and prior period information, as well as look forward through various scenarios to determine whether your business will be generating the assets necessary to cover projected liabilities or distributions.

Financial Statements

There are three basic levels of assurance for financial statements:

  • Audits - The highest level of assurance, which requires our firm to understand your business internal controls, fraud risks, and for us to give an opinion on the quality of your financial information. We will be required to test your management assertions and possibly require confirmation of various balances.
  • Reviews - Less in scope than an audit, this type of financial statement requires us to make inquiries of you and your accounting staff, and to perform analytical procedures on your accounting data.
  • Compilations - The lowest level of assurance for financial statements, requiring no knowledge of internal controls, outside testing or confirmations, analytical procedures or ratio calculations.

We are experienced in all levels of financial statement preparation, and use the latest accounting theory, techniques, and technologies in order to ensure an effective and efficient engagement. Financial statements typically include balance sheets, income statements, statements of owner's equity, and statements of cash flows.
